School Development Program

Government schools are the default destinations of the children from below poverty line families. The future of these children depends on the kind of education that they receive from the Government schools. So, Indus tries to fill soft and hard infrastructural gaps that exist in Government schools to ensure that the Government schools do not lack any essential requirements and also to ensure that kids from these schools receive education that's at par with private schools. Indus Foundation has taken up such program in government schools at Hanamkonda, Somidi, Gopalpur, Julywada, BR Nagar etc on a small scale. Indus provided science and sports equipment in schools in Somidi Government High School, provided water facility at Markaji Government High School, Sanitation facilities at Julywada, Doors, windows and other requirements at Government primary school in Gopalpur, distributed books, bags and stationery in BR Nagar School.

Merit Cum Need Scholarship Program

Indus offers scholarships to merit students from financially backward families to ensure that their financial challenges doesn't hamper their education.

Job Mela

Indus organizes job Melas to bridge the gap between University and Industry and facilitate employment opportunities in companies of fame. Indus organised Job Mela in Hanamkonda in August 2023. Around 50 plus companies were invited and around 4000 job aspirants participated in the mela. Out of the 4,000 aspirants, 692 people were given offer letters on the same day

E Learning App for Competitive Exams

Designed and launched app for job aspirants who are preparing for competitive exams. The App comprises of online lectures from reputed faculty members in 59+ courses. Thousands of job aspirants utilized the service

Roof Covers in Slums

Housing is a major challenge in slums. It’s not just a matter of necessity but its also a matter of self-respect and dignity. But, unfortunately no one speaks about it. People know Dharavi slum of Mumbai, known to be the biggest slum in India. But there exists slums in Warangal which are much deprived than Dharavi. Lakhs of people in these slums without a proper roof over their head. All the three seasons - Summer, Rainy and Winter are a hell for these inhabitants of these slums. So, we have provided roof covers to huts in YSR Nagar Colony, Kazipet. This ensured that the people living in this colony have some protection during rainy seasons

Digital Literacy Program

Digital literacy has the potential to bridge the gap between the rich and the poor. Digital aids inspire the kids to dream big in their lives.Digital Education offer wings to the dreams of children in slums. It helps them look at the whole world from his or her tab. Indus selects merit students from the slums and provide digital aids such as tabs and offer an inspiration to achieve larger goals in their lives.

Women Empowerment Program

An empowered women can empower her family. The financial strength of a women can propel her family to meet the basic needs. Considering this phenomenon, Indus started encouraging women in the slums to pursue micro entrepreneurship. Indus provides a small financial to these women to start their micro business on their and earn a livelihood. Indus helped around 25 women to initiate their own micro business such as groceries store, vegetables shop, fruits shop, flower shop etc. This helped them earn money on a daily basis and meet the expenses of their children and the family

Relief Programs during Natural Calamities

Floods that occurred in 2023 in Warangal have affected almost 70 percent of Warangal City. Around 80 percent of slums and 50 percent of colonies were drowned for 2 to 7 days. People lost their lives, livelihoods and suffered for food and water for days together. Indus felt it as a responsibility to save people from such a dangerous natural calamity and executed a robust rescue and relief program for the affacted. Rescued hundreds of people and provided food and water to 20,000 flood victims. Distributed groceries kits to around 10,000 families in the city.

Covid Relief Program

Covid Pandemic has ruined the lives of many. It created fear and instability among the families. Covid affected lives and livelihoods. People from below poverty line suffered for food. Some of them couldn't afford medical emergency and lost lives. Indus organized the largest covid relief program in Warangal by reaching out to the covid affected in red zones. Indus distributed around 5,000 medical kits and 25,000 groceries kits and around 100 tonnes of vegetables in slums and nearby villages.
